Subject: Thank you and see you in the new year 2024! Explore in depth our summary of this year. 2023: Wrapping Up & A Hearty Thank You What a year! The year 2023 has been nothing short of wonderful and lavish for us at Displaay Type Foundry. As we close this chapter, we're excited to share some facts and stats about our year with you! A huge thank you to everyone for your incredible support and the ingenious ways you've used our typefaces. Spotting them in the wild is like searching for hidden treasures - it's always exciting!

new typefaces We welcomed three new typefaces this year in our catalogue: Jokker: a brilliant revival of all grotesques with bloody gothic vibe. Saans: Our latest addition in the sans-serif category, Saans stands out for its neutrality and adaptability. Fenul: Is inspired by an anatomy book, Fenul is a serif typeface that melds classic elegance with contemporary design nuances.

updated Typefaces We've been busy giving some extra love to our existing typefaces as well! Two of our classics have received significant updates: Denim: Now available in an INK version featuring rounded inner corners, and we've expanded the width options to accommodate those who prefer a wider style. Greed: Greed has grown into our largest family, offering an impressive range from Condensed to Extended widths. We welcomed three new typefaces this year in our catalogue:

Summary Numbers Unveiled! Let's dive into the stats! Here's a snapshot of our year in numbers, charting the milestones and achievements that have shaped our journey. Best sellers Which typefaces were our biggest revenue generators this year? No surprises at the top, but we're thrilled to see other typefaces steadily gaining ground. Most popular And which typefaces topped the charts in order quantity? The leaders hold their ground, but the middle spots show an interesting shuffle! Top months Wondering when our typefaces were hot and when they cooled off? Strongest Month: September (seems nobody can resist a good font in autumn!) Weakest Month: July (indeed, it's vacation time everywhere!) P.S. Keep in mind that these statistics reflect only the sales from our website's e-shop. To give a fair perspective, some typefaces were released later in the year, so they might not have had the full opportunity to shine just yet. Stay tuned! offline For the second year, we're bringing Displaay Offline to you with new limited edition products featuring our typefaces that we're passionate about, and want to share the joy with you. View and purchase all Displaay merch on our e-shop offline.displaay.net This year, we released a couple of products related to the fresh new typefaces and also one related to the upcoming star, because we couldn't wait to share it with you. In the beginning of the year, we sent Jokker CARDS and Jokker BOOK into the world. Towards the bright summer we went in a neon, sporty Greed ANORAK. For the autumn, we had the honour to co-design a Fenul MUG shaped based on the curves of the Fenul Typeface. And just at the end of this year, we released a proud holder for your books, Roobert BOOKEND.

studio life, MMXXIII For the first time ever, we're pulling back the curtain to show you our behind-the-scenes magic! Now, you can meet the incredible team who crafts the typefaces and products. Check out the highlights below: March: With Denim's upgrade and the birth of new styles, we threw a release party where David showcased his bartending prowess with our favorite Negronis! April: Here we all are with our new studio manager Veronika! She's the one on the right next to Viktor. April: To bond our team and spend some time away from the blue light, we enjoyed a bowling match! April: Milan is envious of David's lunch. Why he decided to serve his lunch on a waste bin when we have plenty of tables in the studio, we're not quite sure. May: Patrik Kriššák, the artist behind our new painting that now adorns our massive wall, came to the studio to personally install it. Thank you, Patrik! May: We celebrated the Saans release with our traditional foosball fun, surrounded by our fantastic guests. A special shout-out to Aleš Najbrt for joining us! June: Marek and Viktor, our in-house stars, unveil our new magnetic board, perfect for displaying our creative sketches. June: David and Viktor have triumphantly completed their master's studies in the type-design studio! Congratulations, you two! June: At last, we ventured into the wild forest and mountains together! Hiking, drinking, singing, cooking, tasting, and playing games - just our usual outdoor shenanigans! September: Our London visit took us to some incredible studios and other remarkable spots! September: Marking another milestone with our stand at the Designblok festival! November: Andrea on our trip to Pardubice, savoring the art at Gocar Gallery. It was the perfect autumnal train journey.

coming in 2024 We have a lot of exciting things coming next year that we can't wait to share with you! Our beloved Reckless is getting a makeover with enhanced language support, broader widths, and refined contrasts. As for Roobert, it's stepping up its game with new Mono and Semi-mono styles, ideal for those tech-infused moments or when you need to highlight some code. And there's even more on the horizon!
